LOOGOOTEE – Loren Delmont Hall, 81, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Hospital.

Born August 31, 1941, in Mitchell, he was the son of John Richard and Blanche Avil (Enochs) Hall.  He married Loretta (Moffatt) Richardson Hall and she precedes him in death.

Delmont was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a past chaplain of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.  He retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane.

Surviving are his daughter, LeEtta Carmichael of Shoals, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His parents; wife; son, John Kevin Hall; and step-sons, Darrel Richardson, Scott Richardson, and Steve Richardson, preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen, with a graveside service at a later date.  Military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.  Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
