MITCHELL – Lorena G. Eversole, 85, Mitchell, passed away at 7:22 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2005, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 12, 1919, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Henry and Ida Belle (Burton) McPherson. She married John Wallace Eversole July 20, 1941, and he preceded her in death October 8, 1965.
She was a 1938 graduate of Mitchell High School and was formerly employed at Eversole Products. She was a Den Mother, and a member of the Mitchell Presbyterian Church, Westminster Guild, Order of Eastern Star No. 503, and a charter member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority.

Her parents; husband; brothers, Leland, Emmett, and Burton McPherson; and half brother, Ivis Magner, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, at the Mitchell Presbyterian Church with Lee Hupp officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the church.
