WILLIAMS — Lowell E. Gore, 81, Williams, passed away at 7:10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington.
Born September 29, 1928, in Silverville, he was the son of William Ralph and Martha Pauline (Hall) Gore, and was reared in the home of John and Lela Colglazier. He married Betty J. Spreen May 21, 1948.
Lowell was a farmer and a school bus driver seven years at Williams and 19 years at Mitchell. He and his wife, Betty, have owned and operated Persimmon Tree Antiques since 1990. He graduated from Williams High School in 1947 and was a member of the Williams Church of Christ.

His parents and sister, Carolyn Grissom, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 Tuesday, March 23, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
