MITCHELL Majel Goodin, 96, Mitchell, formerly of Bedford, passed away at 10:53 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 6, 1914, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Ernest and Margaret (Kaiser) Pickens. She married Luther A. Goodin April 2, 1934, and he preceded her in death April 1, 1987.
She was a homemaker, a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Bedford, and was one of the oldest living graduates of Orleans High School.

Her parents; husband; and sister, Hazel Rasche, preceded her in death.
A family graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Rev. Rob Kirts officiating.
