HURON – M. Paul Chappell, Jr., 73, Huron, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, at his residence.
Born February 7, 1937, in Columbia, Tennessee, he was the son of Maury Paul and Viola Rachel (Adams) Chappell, Sr. Following the death of his mother at an early age, his father married a wonderful lady, Sarah A. Harris, and she resides in Columbia, Tennessee. Paul married Judy Flora December 23, 1984.
He was a pharmacist, ordained minister, regional manager of drugstore operations, disc jockey and radio announcer, and for more than 50 years was an auctioneer. He was a member of Switzerland County Community Church and Huron Church of God.

His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Dayadharum officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Huron Cemetery.
