SCOTTSVILLE, KENTUCKY – Mearle (Clouse) Lesnet McCoy, 92, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Born September 23, 1924, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Henry and Nora Belle (Wood) Clouse, Sr., and the wife of the late John Lee Lesnet.
Mearle retired from General Motors.
Surviving: children, Robert E. (Sandra) Lesnet of Scottsville, Kentucky Charles L. (Charlotte) Lesnet of Liberty, Missouri Joyce Ann Young of Greenwood siblings, twin sister, Mildred Bauerle of Seymour Henry (Adriene) Clouse, Jr. of Mitchell grandchildren,
Robert E. Lesnet, Jennifer Clark, John C. Lesnet, and Stacy M. Massey great grandchildren,
Alex and Rani Lesnet, Morgan and Kyle Clark, Jennifer M. and Saira M. Massey, Grabiel M., Sandra M., and Vincent M. Grable
Her parents; husband; grandson,Steven M. Grable II; and siblings, Thelma Gerkin, Jesse Clouse, Ruth Clouse, Elsie Mesarosh, Lowell Clouse, Edwena Jones, Maxine Clouse and Robert Clouse; and half-brother, Paul Wood, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Dr. Robert C. Courson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
