ORLEANS – Michael Andrew Kristan, 53, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at his residence.
Born May 28, 1969, in Jamestown, New York, he was the son of Michael and Frances (Whitney) Kristan. He married Lou Ann Nicole Briscoe July 28, 2006 and she survives.
Michael worked as a laborer at Liner Products. He was a member of the Army National Guard. Michael enjoyed long country drives looking for wildlife. He was a family man and his grandchildren were his world.
Surviving are his wife, Lou Ann Nicole Kristan of Orleans; children, Karissa Johnson of New York, William L. Archer III of Orleans, Samantha N. (Nicholas Kahl) Archer of Lake Placid, Florida, and Shyla R. (Cole) Wright of Orleans; grandchildren, Sawyer Kahl, Alanna Archer, Hezekiah Wright, Raylen Wright, plus two more on the way; siblings, Dan Kristan of Bedford, Terry Kristan of Virginia, and Holly Kristan of Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14 at the United Steelworkers Union Hall, 1782 Old Highway 60W, in Mitchell.
