MITCHELL – Michael Langley LeRoy, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 12, 1942, in Dale, he was the son of Walter and Ava (Stewart) LeRoy.
Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during peacetime. He graduated from Heritage Hills High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University. Michael worked in insurance sales and car sales for Burton Pontiac. He enjoyed walking around town, sports, traveling, and McDonald’s breakfasts. Michael was an avid softball player and was a 1989 Amateur Softball Association champion. He was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are his children, Michael Patrick Weyer, Bart Allen Weyer, Weston Lawless LeRoy, and Michael Trent LeRoy; grandchildren, Christopher, Ian, Cameron, Dilycia, Baily, and Hayden; and sister, Diana Clark of Dale.
His parents and siblings, Eugene LeRoy, Robert “Bob” LeRoy, Steve LeRoy, Jan LeRoy, Barbara Seneff, Sue Cooper, JoAnne Balsmeyer, and Patty Hemmer, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen.
