ORLEANS – Michael Lewis Brown, 61, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Stroud, Oklahoma.
Born January 17, 1952, in Bedford, he was the son of John Lewis and Ruth (Blackburn) Brown.
Mike was a farmer and a 1970 graduate of Mitchell High School. He attended Georgia Southern University and was a member of the Lion and Lamb Ministries.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 250.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Pat Sinnott officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
