ORLEANS – Michael Ray Jones, 56, Orleans, went home to be with Jesus at 3:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born June 26, 1950, in Lawrence County, he was the son of John Paul and Edith Madeline (Patton) Jones.
He was an auto paint and body man. He was an active member of Grace Tabernacle Church where he loved to sing and play his guitar.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Dale Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
