ORLEANS Mildred M. Suddarth, 79, Orleans, went to be with her Lord at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Dunn Memorial Hospital.
Born February 20, 1926, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Harry and Neva (Jackson) Clipp. She was reared in the home of her grandparents, Charlie and Mae Jackson, following the death of her mother. She married John William Suddarth October 11, 1947, and he survives.
She was a member of Fishing Creek Chapel and graduated in 1943 from Mitchell High School. She was a member of the Tri County Antique Farm Machinery Association, White River Valley Antique Association, Greensburg Power of the Past Tractor Club, and a charter member of Todays Homemakers Club.

Her parents; brother, Robert Clipp; sister, Lula Mae Knapp; and half sister, Carolyn Ransom, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Hawkins and Pastor Yancey Unger officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
