MITCHELL – Mildred Marie Daughrity, 89, passed away at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at her residence.

Born January 29, 1923, in Campbellsburg, she was the daughter of Walter and Hazel (Pennington) Walton.  She married Clifford Henry Daughrity January 29, 1993.

She was a nurse’s aide and of the Christian faith.

children, Sherry Lynn McPherson, Gardner, Illinois

David Alan (Cindy) McPherson, Phoenix, Arizona

Debbie Kay (Junior) Flores, Pontiac, Illinois

Morris Lee (Rita Kay) McPherson, Elwood, Illinois

several grand, great, and great great grandchildren

 Her parents; children, Richard Mancel McPherson, Donna Jean Hackney, Ronnie Duane McPherson, Larry Keith McPherson, and Billy Wayne McPherson; and siblings, Betty Green, Gayle Brewer, and Art Walton, preceded her in death.       

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to the McPherson and Daughrity family for their loss. I have good memories of Mildred from my childhood. I know she will be sadley missed.
