MITCHELL– Pamela Jo Meadows, 70, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born October 30, 1951, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Jim and Jenny (Edwards) Leonard.  Pam married Phillip Meadows on May 12, 1984.

Pam retired from NSWC Crane after 38 years. She was a member of the Shriner Hillbillies Outhouse No. 9. Pam loved going to her condo in Florida and enjoyed traveling to different casinos, car shows, and cruises. She made friends everywhere she went.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Meadows of Mitchell; children, James P. (Emilee) Meadows of Bedford and Gena R. Maddox of Wyoming; grandchildren, Camden, Haley, and Lindsey; and brother, Larry (Francie) Leonard of Mitchell.

Her parents and daughter, Brittany D. Meadows, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Kevin Andry officiating.  Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15 and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
