MITCHELL, IN – Patricia Pearl Boscher, 81, passed away into the arms of her Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Indiana University Health
Bedford Hospital.

Born August 15, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Anton and
Mary (Bauer) Maar. Patricia married Thomas Leonard Boscher on September 2, 1978
and he survives.

Patricia retired from the Times Mail as the proofreader extraordinaire. She was a
member of the Gamma Epsilon chapter of Tri Kappa, The Lawrence County Art
Association, and Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Family Association. She was a member
of Spice Valley Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Leonard Boscher of Mitchell; children, James
Tracy Koos of Phoenix, AZ, Laura Lee (Ken) Rasch of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Susan
Mary (Joe) Kuryanowicz of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Thomas John (Katie) Boscher of
Cincinnati, OH; and nine grandchildren: Kevin Tyler Rasch, Steven Joseph (Katie)
Rasch, Nikki Lynn (Chris) Koos, Morgan Delany Kuryanowicz, Sarah Grace (Diego)
Rasch, Colin Edward Boscher, Carter Joseph Kuryanowicz, Peyton Ann Kuryanowicz,
and Quinn Daniel Boscher: and great grandchild: Kennedy Rae Schatzman. She is
further survived by loving cousins, extended family, church family, sorority sisters and
many friends.

If Pat knew of a national holiday, birthday, anniversary or whatever, family and friends
would receive a card. As an aside, if you own Hallmark stock, you may want to sell.

Pat enjoyed riding shotgun in the 1966 Ford Falcon Sports Coupe as she and Tom
traveled coast to coast and border to border on America’s highways and byways
avoiding Interstates.

Memorial service will be held Monday, November 6 at 11 am at Spice Valley Baptist
Church.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at
the church.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.chastainfuneralhome.com/. In lieu of
flowers, donations to the White River Humane Society in Bedford, Indiana, would be
appreciated.

Tom & family, sad to hear of Pat’s passings. Loved working with her many years at the Times-Mail. She was a dedicated hard worker. Always ready to help, whatever the needs were. I talked to her I believe about this time last year and so great to catch up. She will be missed. Prayers for you all!

We were so lucky to have you as our good friend, Miss Pat. You were always there to celebrate our holidays, birthdays, and many special events. Your story was not finished; you left us too soon. It is hard to think that you were here yesterday for one minute, and then you were gone the next. We on this side are in grief, but those on the other side are happy to welcome you. Love you so much, sweet friend.

Pat was my friend at a time and in a place where I had no friends. She brought laughter into my life where there was no laughter. She taught me so much and shared so much with me that I still carry in my heart right now. Pat and Tom through being who they are showed me. You can live a Christian life and have love and laughter and happiness with Jesus in your heart. And I loved hearing Tom call her Partridge.

Pat was my friend at a time and in a place where I had no friends. She brought laughter and my life where there was no laughter. Her and Tom taught me you can live a Christian life, and be happy in that life, and have love and laughter in that life. She shared so much with me and I learned so much from her. And I dearly loved hearing Tom call her Partridge. My heart has a hole in it.
