Forsyth, MO Paul Cummings, 67, Forsyth, MO, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010, at the Table Rock Healthcare in Kimberling City, Missouri.

Born June 16, 1943, in Bedford, he was the son of Sylvester and Ruby Cummings. He married Sunnie Beasley April 11, 1964 in Huron, Indiana.

He served our nation in the United State Air Force, He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forsyth, Gideons International Forsyth Camp, Missouri Pilot Association, Missouri Quie Birds, and the American Legion. Paul worked many years as a corporate pilot for the Hamilton/Sundstrand Corporation. He moved to Forsyth, Missouri in 2001 from Rockford, Illinois.

Patrick Cummings and wife, Lori, of Etters, Pennsylvania
three grandsons,
Nathan, Ethan, and Clark

Adison, Kiersten, and Hannah

His parents and sisters, Ruth Cox and Alice Blackburn, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at noon, Wednesday, January 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Don Myers officiating. Burial will be in Huron Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

    Mrs Cummings and Family: So sorry for your loss. Paul was my first Flight Instructor and I soloed in his Grumman Trainer in Bedford. He was a great instructor and started me on my flying career. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
