MITCHELL Pauline Merry, 94, Mitchell, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2010, at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.
Born October 30, 1915, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of George and Lela (White) Tincher. She married Richard Merry July 4, 1933, and he preceded her in death December 27, 1979.
She retired from General Electric and was a member of the Huron Church of God.

Her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Thelma Merry; brother, Gilbert Tincher; and sisters, Genevieve King and W. Charlene Williams, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Bryantsville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
