HURON – Phillip Eugene King, 84, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born April 9, 1933, in Paoli, he was the son of Hobart and Edith Mae (Baldwin) King. He married Margaret Sue Pridemore January 9, 1954.
Phillip had been employed at Indiana Sandstone Company and retired from the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a welder, loved history, and helped found the Huron Fire Department. Phillip graduated from Huron High School in 1952.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Skip Mathews officiating.
Burial will be in Port William Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
