HOUSTON, TEXAS Richard Carl Knox, 49, Houston, Texas, formerly of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010, in Houston.
Born September 28, 1960, in Bedford, he was the son of John and Ann (Marlowe) Knox. He married Anita Ramos January 28, 1984.
Rick was employed by the City of Houston. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1978 and attended Vincennes University. He was a member of Southeast Church of Christ. Rick enjoyed life, his family, and his many friends.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Bro. Darrin Chastain and Bro. Allen Burris officiating.
The family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Richard C. Knox Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
