Martha & Nancy, i'm so sorry to see this about Bob. When i was young and TRYING to grow up, the Tritles and Beasleys were my ROCK. I learned what farming, friends, and LIFE were all about. At your HOME after helping put up hay one day/evening, Bob invited us ALL over to the HOME for supper! I was VERY dirty, sweaty, and starved. Pretty sure it was AFTER 9:30 pm on a Saturday. I had my very 1st taste of steak ( had NEVER had one before), HOME made ice cream, AND family times. I discovered i REALLY like plain old hamburgers! Those words, "Eddie, theres PLENTY more to eat, get over here, get you some more"! It felt good to not only be paid for working but to LEARN the WHOLE family is as LOVING and CAREING group. THIS will be in my heart & mind for ever! I KNEW i had just met folks who cared for others. GOD was there, GOD was good! My other best memory was the Thanksgiving day when Larry and i went in the old Duster to the bottoms to do those looong burn outs on the road. It hooked up that day, went through the fence, landed on top of a whole roll of rusty old fence. As we were walkin back to the house, here comes Bob in that old Chevrolet truck. "Dab gummit" Larry says, "Don't say a word to him". He pulled up with this great big old smile (laughing) and said, "WHATS HAPPIN' CATS"! As sad a day as this is i just can't help but feel JOY that Bob & Charles are having a wonderful time in heaven talking about the good old days like these. God Bless you Martha! Eddie
