BEDFORD – Robert Eugene Waggoner, 56, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Brickyard Healthcare Bloomington Care Center.

Born July 10, 1967, in Bedford, he was the son of Roy Eugene and Carolyn Sue (Tolbert) Waggoner.

Robert was raised in the Bryantsville Church of Christ.  He had worked at the Jay-C store in Bedford and for Green Hill Cemetery.  Robert also mowed lawns in the area, whether for churches, cemeteries, or many people’s houses.  Robert enjoyed farming and gardening in his free time.

Surviving are his parents, Roy Eugene Waggoner and Carolyn Sue Waggoner of Bedford; sister, Sheila (Allen Asbury) McCormick of Bedford; and nephew, Michael McCormick of Bedford.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 19, at Bryantsville Cemetery with Brother Bud Smith officiating.
