MITCHELL – Robert Morris Rudolph, 55, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.

Born January 25, 1971, in Canton, Ohio, he was the son of Alan and Georgia (Smith) Rudolph.

Robert worked in hospitality and restaurant management.  He was a musician and singer in a band, and he loved music more than anything in the world.  One of his favorite bands was Stryper.  Robert also enjoyed fishing, and was an Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving are his children, Zachary (Megan) Rudolph of Mitchell, Skylar Rudolph of Mitchell, and Taylor (Brandon Phelix) Rudolph of Bedford; grandchildren, Gabriel Wood, Ruby Rudolph, Ellie Rudolph, and Isla Rudolph; father, Alan (Debbie) Rudolph of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his significant other, Jennifer Ashba.

His mother preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.  A memorial service will 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Steve Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.

    I always thought of him as a straight up guy,.... he'd do anything for you if he could. He would always bring great vibes every time I was around him. He will be greatly missed and both my wife and I send our love and prayers to his family and children. This is not "Good-Bye" Robbie, we will see each other again. Love you Brother.

    I am Robbie’s aunt, sister of his mother. My condolences to Robbie’s children and grandchildren. I have some great memories and fun times with Robbie when we lived closer. I know my sister is overjoyed to be with him again in heaven.

    I only got brief moments with Robbie, but being a fellow Stryper fan those moments where rememberable. I always felt that if Robbie and I ever had a chance to seriously hang out and jam we would have become quick and very strong friends. It saddens me that I won't have that opportunity here on earth, but looking forward to seeing him in Heaven.
