HURON – Robert Thomas Hoffman, Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at his residence.
Born July 18, 1945, in Hammond, he was the son of George W. and Zena Effie (Orsbourne) Hoffman. He married Lora Kay Eriks October 20, 1967.
Robert retired from Inland Steel. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and cats, and enjoyed mowing his lawn.
Robert was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

His parents; daughter, Carol Dawn Hoffman; and siblings, George Hoffman, Betty Hoffman, and Donna Fuzy, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, at Huron Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service.
