MITCHELL – Robert Wayne Lindsey, Sr., 56, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Indiana University Health Hospice House.

Born April 15, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Ivan Amil Lindsey and Patricia Ann (Maloney) Nedrow.

Robert enjoyed walking around with his imaginary dog, Spot.  He was a jokester and always silly.

Surviving are his children, Jessica (Wesley) Lindsey of Newark, Texas, Jamie Lindsey of Morrilton, Arkansas, Katherine Lindsey of Mitchell, Samantha Lindsey of Mitchell, Robert Wayne Lindsey, Jr. of Sweetwater, Tennessee, and Brianna Lindsey of Sweetwater, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sophia, Zane, Keara, Emmarie, Janyia, Talius, Avreyanna, Karyson, Traytan, Mattie, Zaylan, Dillon, Jr., and Vivian; and siblings, Tina Sonberger of Ecorse, Michigan, Sheila Lindsey of Lincoln Park, Michigan, William Lindsey of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Lisa Lindsey of Texas, and Betty Jean Lindsey of Houghton Lake, Michigan.              

His parents and sister, Venus Kay Lindsey, preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.
