MITCHELL – Robert Wilford McNeely, 90, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Mitchell Manor, surrounded by loved ones.

Born September 16, 1930, in Mitchell, he was the son of Harry and Carrie (Nicholson) McNeely.  He married Peggy Ann Blanton October 4, 1952.

Robert retired from Carpenter Body Works.  He loved his Lord, his family, music, and being in the woods.  He was a member of the Mitchell Wesleyan Church and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

His parents; granddaughter, Cristen Dawn Rayhill; and sisters, Bonnie Brashier and Virginia Roop, preceded him in death.

Family graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, at Mitchell Cemetery with Reverend Steve Jones officiating.  Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
