MITCHELL Ronald C. Neely, 67, Mitchell, passed away at 2:55 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at Bedford Regional Medical Center.
Born November 8, 1941, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Elmer Rae and Anna Lee (Rasnic) Neely.
He was a trucker and had been employed by the Bedford Vault Company. Ronald was a U. S. Army veteran and belonged to the Mitchell Softball League in the 1970’s.

His parents and sister, Sandy Vaught, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Bechtel officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
