MITCHELL – Sana Diane McGill, 58, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, at her home.

Born April 14, 1963, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Gurney and Ruth Evelyn (Cahill) Baker.  She married Bobby Ray McGill December 22, 1983.

Sana was employed at Bliss Place and previously at Orschlen and Big Blue.  She loved fishing with her husband and camping with the family.  Sana enjoyed bowling and was competitive at all games.  Her husband, daughters, and grandkids were her everything.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

    Such a genuine person. Waited on me alot at the farm store, (Orshlen) if I had a question or whatever. She would ask me if I needed help during my time with cancer, as I was bald at that time and was obvious I was going through chemotherapy. Such a shock when I saw she had passed. I didn't know she was sick.

    My heart was broken today when I heard of your passing. I didnt know you were sick. I have such wonderful memories of coming to your house and playing cards and other fun games with you and Bob when the girls were little. I loved your laugh and I do especially remember how very competitive you were in all games.. But in such good way! We made a good team against the boys!
