MITCHELL – Sandra Kay Lawson, 64, passed away at 2:47 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born February 22, 1950, in Pekin, Indiana, she was the daughter of Morris and Emma Jean (Lessig) Brown.  She married Ronald Lawson November 16, 1968.

Sandra was a former employee of Dana Corporation and a 1968 graduate of Mitchell High School. 

Surviving:   husband, Ronald Lawson, Mitchell
                 daughter, Trena Jones, Mitchell
                         son, Travis Lawson, Bloomington
          grandchildren, Alex and Loren Jones
                      sister, Carol Suits, Greenwood
                   brother, David Brown, Bloomington

Her parents and sister, Brenda Stuckey, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Dwight Dunbar officiating.  Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
