My condolences go out to Sarah's family and closest friends. While we were never super close, I'll never forget her for her outgoing personality and the quirks that came with that. She was always putting others first, willing to sacrifice to help others. She once told me that she wanted to open a yoga shop in Puerto Rico once she'd saved up the money to do so. I jokingly told her that I'd join her once she did. I say "jokingly", but deep down I admired her idea of setting up a quiet life in a beautiful location and wanted her to succeed. I'm glad to have been a part of her life and I will miss her dearly.

Dear Betty and David and your family, I know the pain you are going through. When you and your hubby look at the stars know that Sarah is smiling down on you. Talk to her as if she is in the room with you. I still talk to my mom. God Bless you and your family. Denise Turner

Chris and I knew Sarah from IUPUI. We cherished all the moments we shared with her. Sarah was such a kind and wholesome spirit, she lit up any room with her contagious smile and we still cannot believe she’s been taken away from us this soon. We will always remember her as the spunky and outgoing person that we loved so much. She made all the moments she was a part of better and we are better for have getting the opportunity to know her, even if it was just for a short while. We will love and miss her dearly. We send our best to the family and our deepest condolences.

I am so terribly sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. She and I got to spend a lot of time together during her time at BNL working on chemistry and talking about her job at Hallmark and the adventures she'd had and the ones she was still planning. Sarah's age put here right in the middle of my three children so they all knew her during school as well. They are also very sad to know she has gone from life on earth but confident she is off on adventures so wonderful that we can't even imagine in Heaven.

Sarah was, and is, a beautiful soul. She always brought a smile to my face. I had the honor of meeting her through mutual friends. My heart aches for the loved ones effected by her loss. She was truly a wonderful friend. Fly high, baby girl. Until we meet again. ❤

I met Sarah my freshman year of college at IUPUI. We clicked instantly and had grown to be the very best of friends. She's the kindest soul I've ever known. I've never felt such heartache. Betty, David- my heart goes out to you. We lost a beautiful, beautiful girl, inside and out.

I worked with Sarah at Hallmark and she was always kind to every person she met that came through the door. Always so willing to help and be of service. I apologize that I'm not able to attend the funeral, but Please know my thoughts and prayers are with Sarah's family. Losing my sister at the same age of Sarah, I know these feelings all too well. May God place peace in each family member's heart. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I had the great blessing of knowing Sarah when she was in high school. I loved seeing her grow and mature into a beautiful young lady. Thoughts of our talks as her high school counselor will always bring joy to me. Sarah was taken from this work way to soon- she was a shaker and going to do incredible things. The Lewis family will be in my thoughts and prayers for many days ahead.
