MITCHELL Sheena Colleen Graves, 26, 638 Lawrenceport Main, passed away Thursday evening, January 26, 2012, following an automobile accident.

Born January 29, 1985, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Steven and Lisa (Hopper) Graves.

Sheena was employed at Paoli Peaks. Following graduation in 2003 from Mitchell High School, she attended Ivy Tech.

Her grandparents, Mary Lou Black and Robert I. Graves; aunt, Julie Graves; and uncle, Victor Graves, preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. A family graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lawrenceport Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Sheena, you were the closest person I had. I couldn't have asked for a better Sister, and I am honored to be your brother. I am so grateful to have known you for the 23 years of my life. You were my best friend in the whole world, and you took care of me like a wonderful loving mother would, and now i don't know what to do without you.     I am at a loss for words. Sheena was such a great person and there will not be a day that passes that I will not think about her. She was one of a kind and such a special person.     We were friends since the day I was born I think. We were pushed together in our strollers and on swings, and we walked the halls of the high school together. I wish we had stayed close after that, but life got in the way. I always felt that we would just pick up one day where we left off. You were always my BFF, and that means forever. I will never forget you and will miss you so very much.

    My thoughts and prayers will be with her family, words cant touch the pain I feel for them. I wish I could do or say something to make their suffering less but all I can say is this...I have been friends with Sheena for over 10 years she was and will always be one of the most sweetest people I know. She would do anything to make the ones she loved happy, without question. No matter how long it was between talking or seeing each other it felt like we hadn't ever missed a day.
