WILLIAMS – Stacey Amel Kern, 45, passed away at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, in Freedom.

Born May 4, 1970, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Amel K. and Candace Kay (Doub) Kern.

Stacey had been employed ten years as a lineman in Michigan, and was a 1988 graduate of Mitchell High School.

His mother (August 1, 2008); and grandparents, Jack Doub and Kenneth and Maeda Kern, preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will be at a later date in Bryantsville Cemetery.

Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Bryantsville Cemetery with Reverend Richard Tallman officiating.

    Daddy kaysin has gotten so big its crazy he is 12 now acts like he is 16 and im sure u know im married ive found me a good one he is everything thing i could imagine he is my king and he treats me like a Queen I'm pretty sure u sent him to me daddy and if you did thank you because he has turned me in to such a good person i do struggle with my mental health still but were trying to get that whipped in the butt its just alot ta know dealing with all my past trauma and what not but i love you and im so thank full for him i wish u guys could of meant he is so good to bub and im a step mommy to i love u daddy

    Daddy i miss u so so much its hurts you are my best friend not a day goes by that i don't think of you but i know your looking out for me ever day your my guardian 👼 and im thankful for that but like i said its rough daddy i miss u so much i miss talking to you running to you when i needed to talk to you or just hanging with you because ive always been my daddy's baby girl i love you tell nana i said hi and love her very much and miss her xoxo

    So sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Stacey was high school, but he always made me laugh. I know Mac and Cory were always keeping me on my toes as well. My heart breaks for all of you.
