MITCHELL Stephen Dean Jaggers, 59, Mitchell, passed away Monday afternoon, September 19, at his residence.
Born November 12, 1945, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Edward Russell and Alice M. (Stevens) Jaggers. He married Nancy Lee Stevens July 12, 1989, and she survives.
He was a 1963 graduate of Bedford High School and was employed at NTN Drive Shaft in Columbus. He was a U. S. Army Air Bourne veteran.

His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
