MITCHELL – Steven Joseph Lewis, 56, Mitchell, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2009, at his residence.
Born May 14, 1953, in Bedford, he was the son of Walter Thomas “Tom” and Elsie (Batchelor) Lewis. He married Connie L. (Doub) Johnson, June 7, 1984.
He had been employed at General Electric, 25 years at Regal-Beloit, and most recently at Lehigh Cement Company.
Steve graduated from Bedford High School in 1973 and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.
