CAMPBELLSBURG – Steven Lee Brown, 67, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at U of L Health – Jewish Hospital.

Born January 28, 1956, in Salem, he was the son of Lester “Bud” and Ruth Ellen (Wesner) Brown.

Steven was a 1974 graduate of West Washington High School. He worked as a farmer and attended Mt. Carmel Christian Church.

Surviving are his brother, Terry (Judy) Brown of Evans, Georgia; niece, Jacqueline (Rob) O’Brien of Cincinnati, Ohio; and nephew, Judson (Julia) Brown of Atlanta, Georgia.

His parents preceded him in death.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, with Brother Jerry Hartledge officiating. Burial to follow.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

So sorry to hear about Steve. He was a lunchtime neighbor, grew up next-door to him and Terry and partners, Steve was a very person He was the age of my brothers, but he was a great person won loss.
