MITCHELL – Thomas Alan Hudson, 79, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at IU Health University Hospital.

Born September 1, 1946, in Bedford, he was the son of Theodore and Rachel (Short) Hudson.  He married Linda Sue White on December 2, 1967 and she survives.

Thomas worked in the machine shop at Regal Beloit for over 40 years.  He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and baseball cards, and was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds.  Thomas loved his family and spending time with them brought him much joy – especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Hudson of Mitchell; children, Kathy Jo Dunn of Mitchell, Kimberly Ann (James) Cooper of Mitchell, and Kevin Scott Hudson of Illinois; grandchildren, Roy Wright III, Emily Nichole Wright, Logan Hudson, Quintin Goodman, McKenzie Tuerk, and Shelby Nichole Cooper; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Judy (Jon) Mavon of Bedford; and sister-in-law, Sandy Hudson of Bedford.

His parents; daughter, Sueann Hudson; and brother, Warren Hudson, preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.
