BEDFORD – Timothy Kieth Staley, 73, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick.

Born January 4, 1948, in Oolitic, he was the son of Gilbert and Maxine (Hubbard) Staley.  He married Anne Marie (Chambers) Mundy July 4, 1991, and she preceded him in death April 17, 2005.

Tim had been employed 20 years at Regal-Beloit and retired from General Electric.  He was a 1966 graduate of Oolitic High School and an active member of Southland Church of Christ.  Tim enjoyed auctions and yard sales and was a “Papaw” to everyone.

Tim was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

His parents; wife; and siblings, Sonia Young and Raymond Staley, preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Bud Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9107.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the  funeral home.
