Survivors include her daughters, Billie Jo (William Wigley) Gray of Mitchell, and Eva (Thomas Mize) Thacker of North Vernon; grandchildren, Maria Gray, Preston Wigley, Oakley Gray, Matthew Kelley, Alice Thacker, and Jacob Mize; brothers, Karl Payton of Mitchell, and Kenneth “Kenny” Thompson of Mitchell; great-aunt, Eva Conard of Georgia; and several cousins.

Her parents and brother, Fredrick “Billy” Gray, preceded her in death.

The lord as my shepherd, I shall not want.he makes me lie down in green pastures, and leads me beside still waters. He restored my sole, and leads me in the path of righteousness, for his names sake. And Though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my enemies, thou anointed my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
