Even with the distance of years and miles, Aunt Venita holds a special place in my heart. There were so many years of spending weeks with Granny and as a result you boys were like brothers, and Aunt Venita was like a second mom. I had tried to call her for several days before I heard of your loss. I hate that I missed talking to her. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My mom, Lucille Phillips, worked with Venita at Mitchell Schools. My mom always liked working with Venita and considered her a friend. Mom said she was a hard worker and a fair boss. I know my mom would want me to share this with her family.

We will sorely miss Aunt Venita! I will never forget the love that seemed to emanate from the twinkle in her eyes and her infectous smile. Her soft spokeness and caring concern were always reassuring to me. I eagerly wait for the day we see eachother again. Our thoughts & prayers are with our family, especially George, Larry & Brian. In & through Christ with much love, Diane, Brandon & Brittany.
