MITCHELL – William “Jake” Odle, 74, Mitchell, and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at his residence.
Born May 13, 1932 in Moss, Tennessee, he was the son of Martin and Maime (Shaw) Odle. He married Nancy Ann Howell September 2, 1960, and she preceded him in death September 29, 2003.
He retired from Caterpillar in Joliet, Illinois.

His parents; wife; and stepfather, Robert Thompson, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
