MITCHELL – William Michael “Mike” Conley, 47, passed away at 8:42 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 23, 1968, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he was the son William H. and Joyce (Baker) Conley.
He was employed as a mechanic at Hancock Trucking and was a 1987 graduate of Mitchell High School. Mike enjoyed being and doing things outside and he loved riding his Mini-chopper and spending time with his dogs. He will be greatly missed by his two pit bulls—Jazmine and Bucky.
Surviving: children, Desiree (RD) Lake of Bedford Brian Conley of Shoals Kayla Conley of Shoals parents, Jake and Joyce Mounce of Mitchell William H. Conley of Mitchell grandchildren, Jordan and Shalee Lake siblings, Chris Conley of Mitchell Dennis (Julie) Mounce of Bedford Julie (Tony) Massey of Bedford Cheryl (Gary Kirk) See of Mitchell nephews, Chris and Gage Conley
His grandparents, Joe and Mildred Baker and Laura Boone, preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Cremation will follow.
