MITCHELL – William R. Tincher, 86, 525 South Fifth Street, Mitchell, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at the home of his son in Bedford.
Born February 28, 1920, in Bedford, he was the son of James William and Mary (York) Tincher.
He married Lola Tincher and she preceded him in death.
He was retired from the Mitchell Street Department and was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.

His parents; wife; and brothers, Charles, Harvey and Henry Tincher, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
