We did not know Colbert for most of his life but we did enjoy knowing him through his daughter Tricia and her family. We know they loved him and wanted the best for him. We know that they are heartbroken to have lost him too early in life. Life had daughter and father separated and a young age but when she could, she persevered to get to know him and have him in her life and and for him to get to know her son's. May they carry fond memories of Colbert and know he did love Tricia and her family.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Colbert. We lived in the house next door to them when growing up in our younger days. I went to school at Tunnelton with Colbert and Carl as well. Colbert was very mechanically inclined and knew a lot about vehicles and keeping things running. There are not many people that can do that with the kind of success he had. I would run into him every now and then later in life and always enjoyed listening to him and what he had to say. He will be deeply missed by me and my brother Lowell Allen. I still remember when we would play football out in the yard sometimes after school. To the family and Carl and Kenny my dearest condolences. Colbert was a good guy to have around.
