BLOOMINGTON Dennis K. Dorsett, 59, Bloomington, formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at the home of his mother.
Born August 10, 1949, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Virgil Kenneth and Vera (Kinder) Dorsett.
He was a medical technician at Bloomington Hospital for 33 years. He graduated from Mitchell High School in 1967 and Oakland City College in 1971. Denny was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Bloomington.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Father Rick Eldred and Pastor Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
