MITCHELL Dorcas M. Banks, 86, 1220 Elm Park I, Mitchell, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2009, at StoneBridge Health Care in Bedford.
Born August 8, 1922, in Stafford, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wayne and Ida Mae (Mallett) Robbins. She married John J. banks August 10, 1971, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene. Dorcas graduated from Stafford High School in 1941, and was a member of AARP and Today’s Homemakers.

Her parents and brothers, Charles, Junior, and Harold Robbins, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, at the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Bechtel, Pastor Dave Mikulsky, and Bro. Don Haney officiating. Entombment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home and from noon until the service on Thursday at the church.
