MITCHELL – Doris Marie Gilstrap, 74, Mitchell, passed away at 4:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2006, at her residence.
Born May 17, 1931, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Alva and Helen (Bundy) Wagner. She married Harold G. “Monk” Gilstrap September 1, 1948, and he preceded her in death February 26, 1997.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Allen officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
