BONO Edgar Nicholson, 85, Bono, passed away at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Bloomington Hospital of Orange County in Paoli.
Born February 14, 1923, in Kossuth, he was the son of Harry and Grace (Kelley) Nicholson. He married Corinne Hoggatt December 24, 1954, and she preceded him in death July 10, 1995.
He was a farmer, had been employed at Paoli Chair, and retired as a maintenance man from the First United Methodist Church in Bedford. He was an avid collector of four leaf clovers, arrowheads, and a mushroom hunter. He was a member of the Bono United Methodist Church.
Edgar was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Krista, Austin and Tyler Kirk
His parents; wife; sisters: Lilly Broy, Ruth Baker, Norma Singleton, Florence Nicholson, Mae Morris, and Drucilla Nicholson; and brothers: Joe and Aubrey Nicholson, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 29, at Talbott Cemetery with Pastor Brad Clark officiating.
