Uncle Elza, you will be missed. Growing up, I would spend some of my summer break at Uncle Elza and Aunt Minnie's when hanging out with my cousins. Yes, many years have passed since these times took place, but I have wonderful memories that I will treasure. The many fireworks shows Uncle Elza would set off for us in July. Going to the Persimmon Festival and always having a great view of the parade because he took his pick-up truck down and got us a great spot for watching. He taught me that salt and pepper on cottage cheese is awesome, and even where over yonder is. These are all important things and wonderful memories that I will cherish for years to come. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this difficult time.

Dearest Carolanna, and family, Your Dad Elza was such a good friend to Dad; a great listener and storyteller, too. They sure did enjoy the other’s company. It’s comforting (and effortless) imagining the big smiles at their reunion. I pray your wonderful memories bring you peace during this difficult season. How truly blessed we are in His assurances, knowing it isn’t goodbye, but rather, see you later. I love you, Andrea
