There is nothing that I can write here that would be an adequate expression of my thoughts and emotions at this time. My father and I were sometimes at odds and sometimes standing side by side in situations where overwhelming circumstances were our adversary. We always resolved our differences. We always survived our trials in life even when defeat held the field at the end of our endeavors. I learned from him that perseverance is the foundation of rising again to meet the next challenge. If you are knocked down 12 times get up 13. There is only one horizon in life that stands still for us and my Dad has reached it. Now, tomorrow, I must rise and follow my path to that same destination with humility, love, forgiveness and remembrance. I love you Dad and I will keep that close as long I am able. Rest In Peace.
