MITCHELL – Helen Catherine Henderson, 92, Mitchell, passed away at 6:50 p.m. Monday, January 23, at Hospitality House, Bedford.
Born September 16, 1913, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Harley J. and Dovie Mae (Phillips) Alexander. She married Stanley Henderson August 17, 1929, and he preceded her in death July 17, 1986.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Solsberry Order of Eastern Star No. 547, White Shrine, Forty & Eight, and American Legion Auxiliary.

Her parents; husband; sister, Lucille Alexander; and brother, Robert Alexander, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 27, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Kirkman officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be conducted by Solsberry Order of Eastern Star No. 547 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
