ORLEANS Jack Eugene Mann, 77, Orleans, passed away at 8:27 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 20, 1927, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Wayne Mann and Mary Boyd.

He was a retired pharmacist, a 1946 graduate of Mitchell High School, and a graduate of Butler University.

He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and a member of Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

son, Derek Mann
half-sister, Waneta Wires, Orleans
3 grandchildren

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Courson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery with military honors accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post No. 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
