BLOOMINGTON – Jeffery William Mundy, 63, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 14, 1962, in Mitchell, he was the son of Bernard Lavan Mundy and Flossie Marie (Winegar) Sloan.
Jeff was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and watching westerns; especially Gunsmoke. Jeff loved his family and his sister, Regina, and his nephews were very special to him. He had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Surviving are his siblings, Regina (Calvin) Schrader of Mitchell, Gary Mundy of Bedford, Scott (Deanna) Mundy of Mitchell, Melissa (Paul) Sparks of Mitchell, Annette Prince of Bedford, and Brian Sloan of Bedford.
His parents and great-nephews, Andrew Brooking and Nikola Pemberton, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen. A service will be held at a later date with burial in Mitchell Cemetery.
